* Place a bet on the banker’s hand, your hand or a tie. When you put your chips on one of the betting areas you make a bet. A winning bet on banker’s hand or your hand pays 1 to 1 while a winning bet on a tie pays 9 to 1 or 8 to 1 depending on the casino.

* Total your points after your first two cards were dealt.

* Open your cards if your cards total 8 or 9. THis is called “natural” and you automatically win unless the banker also has a “natural”.

* Do not draw and stand on your cards if your first two cards total six or more.
